Separately, by accessing or using the WoundIQ application — including its web, progressive web app (PWA), and mobile interfaces — you agree to the terms set out in the WoundIQ Privacy & Usage Statement, which is also incorporated into the agreement your facility has entered into with NorthStar Technology Services LLC ("NorthStar"). Failure to follow those terms will void your warranty, and NorthStar is not liable for damages resulting from improper use.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

This website is provided for informational and commercial enquiry purposes for healthcare professionals and organizations evaluating WoundIQ. You may view, download, and print content from this site for your own internal evaluation purposes.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system.
• Introduce malware, or interfere with the proper operation or availability of the site.
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content, or to submit the enquiry form.
• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

As an authorized user of the WoundIQ platform, you accept the following:

• You will use the platform only for authorized clinical and administrative purposes related to your role at your facility.
• You will keep your login credentials confidential and will not share them with others.
• You will not attempt to access data that does not belong to your facility or your authorized scope of care.
• You will promptly report any suspected security incident or unauthorized access to your facility administrator.
• You understand that your actions within the platform are logged and may be reviewed for compliance or audit purposes.
• You will hold all Protected Health Information in strict confidence and will not directly or indirectly use, disclose, copy, transfer, or allow unauthorized access to it. Unauthorized use or disclosure of PHI may result in civil and criminal penalties under HIPAA and applicable state laws.

WoundIQ is a clinical information and documentation tool — not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

NorthStar Technology Services LLC is not engaged in the practice of medicine, nursing, or any other licensed healthcare profession. The WoundIQ platform — including its clinical scoring tools and any AI-assisted analysis features — provides structured information to support wound care documentation and clinical decision-making. It does not replace the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

All patient care decisions, treatment plans, and clinical actions taken on the basis of information within WoundIQ remain the exclusive responsibility of the licensed clinicians and the healthcare facility. Any AI-assisted output is a suggestion for clinician review and must be confirmed by a qualified clinician before being acted upon.

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for patient care decisions.

The WoundIQ platform and this website — including their design, structure, workflows, scoring logic, data models, text, graphics, logos, and associated documentation — constitute confidential and proprietary information of NorthStar Technology Services LLC ("Confidential Information") and are protected by intellectual property law.

Users and clients agree to:

• Hold WoundIQ's Confidential Information in strict confidence.
• Not reproduce, disclose, reverse-engineer, or distribute any portion of the platform without prior written consent from NorthStar Technology Services LLC.

Certain clinical scoring instruments incorporated into WoundIQ are used under the terms of their respective copyright holders and remain the property of those parties. These include the Braden Scale (© Barbara Braden and Nancy Bergstrom, 1988) and the MNA® Mini Nutritional Assessment (Nestlé Nutrition Institute), used under license.

When you submit an enquiry through this site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it — including any company or facility details.

Do not submit Protected Health Information, patient identifiers, or confidential clinical data through the enquiry form. It is a commercial enquiry channel and is not an appropriate destination for patient information. Information you submit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This site is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure and uses Azure Communication Services to deliver enquiry notifications. Those services are governed by Microsoft's own terms and privacy commitments.

Where this site links to third-party websites, those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party site.

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that this site or the WoundIQ platform will operate without interruption or error, that defects will be corrected, or that the site is free of harmful components. NorthStar is not liable for service interruptions or delays attributable to a facility's internet connection or network performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NorthStar Technology Services LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability arising from the WoundIQ platform itself is governed by your facility's service agreement with NorthStar, which controls over this section in the event of conflict.

Your facility agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NorthStar Technology Services LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any and all claims arising from improper use of the platform, unauthorized disclosure of PHI, or patient care decisions made without appropriate clinical judgment.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for the resolution of any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of this website.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

NorthStar Technology Services LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this document periodically.
